Launch Day! The Journey Begins…

We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone’.

When thoughts collide, circumstances align, passion is ignited, and seeds of faith and trust are watered, by the grace of God something special can grow. Seven months ago three children living in extreme poverty came into our lives. Their homes in Kayole, Kanthoroko and Ikutha became indelible marks on the map and our heart of compassion swelled over Kenya. These children and their communities are among the poorest on earth. They don’t have access to clean water or basic sanitation. Food is scarce, disease and death is rife. Survival is sometimes impossible and often undignified. But change is possible, and we knew we had to help.   Speak 31 was born. Taking our name from a poem that declares every one of God’s creatures as good and equal, we will

Speak Up for those who cannot speak for themselves. For the rights of all who are destitute Speak Up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. (Proverbs 31: 8-9)

We encourage you to follow our journey as we progress our campaigns for Menstrual Hygiene Management and Water and Sanitation for the villages of Kayole, Kanthoroko and Ikutha, develop important partnerships with AMREF and other key organisations, build relationships with Kenyan communities, and follow God’s will on this exciting adventure!! We look forward to having you along for the ride.
